Return visit to The CLA Game Fair with the GWCT
Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire. July 2014
Once again I joined the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust (GWCT) on their stand at the CLA Game Fair.
As a Trade Member and supporter of the Trust and their work, it is always a pleasure and an honour to work with them at this, the biggest date on the country calendar. At the show there is much work carried out by the GWCT. Friday is always a political day, with visits from many MPs and ministers, and the GWCT stand is must-see for all from Westminster, so it is vital for me to capture as many of those visits as possible.
This year, the keynote event had to be the debate in the CLA Theatre tent – Is Europe Important For The Countryside? Featuring the Trust’s very own Ian Coghill and the slightly controversial Nigel Farrage. A strong debate was promised, the tent was rammed to capacity to hear them all talk, the temperature rose to the 40s – but this was THE event to capture for the Trust, so I forced my way through to ensure front row action.
The rest of the show for me was making sure that all the key events on the stand, and elsewhere that the the Trust were involved, was captured for their marketing team. These images will be used throughout the year by the Trust, in reports and publications, and no doubt on the website too.
That’s my job … embed myself in the team, fulfill the brief and have some fun whilst I’m doing it. Call me now on 01933 628139 to get me on the team for your next event.
